About "Bonjour America"

Hello everybody!

If you are on this blog at this time, it's because you want to know more about this show: "Bonjour America".

I'm Cyrille de Lasteyrie, alias "Vinvin" (my french blog pseudo), I live in Paris, France. I'm 36 years old, I'm married and I have 2 young kids. I worked during 10 years in the Advertising sphere, as a copy-writer. First in a big agency, Publicis, and then in my own company, Sidièse. In 2005, I decided to change a few things in my life and to focus on my writing in the Entertainment area. I write stories for TV series and concepts that I sell to french TV channels.
At the same time, I develop my personal show, writing and acting in short sketchs. What are my goals? To have fun. To make people laugh. To test my stories with a real audience. And above all, to meet Clint Eastwood, the best of the best! Is it a joke? May be. May be not.

May be it is an american dream?

Your show ROCKS.

Hello from New York. (Which you left out of the list of states, by the way. Especially South New York. HA!)

We especially loved the McDonald's radio show... my 9-year old son Sky was laughing so hard I thought he was gonna PEE.

Keep up the fantastic work.

Really good show.
I'll give it a 20/20, despite the fact that you put a "Beret" in the cheesy movie which doesn't really give you a great look!.
Of course I'm joking :-)
you did look great in this movie.
You managed to make us "smelt" the cheeses like if we next to you!!

Anyway if it was a "bois de boulogne" it's a good(and safe) choice to take 9am to do your show.

Un grand bravo pour ton show. Un vrai ton, une vraie spontanéité! Toujours un plaisir immense à découvrir tes nouvelles aventures simple & very accurate.

Cyrille, if the goal of your video blog is to have fun and make people laugh, then you've more than accomplished your goal! Your video blogs are HILARIOUS!! I'm recommending them to my friends and family. Thanks for enlightening us with your French humour.

My favourites so far:
1) Music on Air, with "Partenaire Particulier". I almost fell off my chair laughing. I haven't heard that song since the 80's (I learned it in French class, can you believe it!).

2)The Frencheese Project: I think it is always a great idea to start your day off with some good French bread, cheese and wine. No problem at 9 am. Bring it on!

3)French students on strike: I now know all about CPE. Merci.

4)Is the French Army Good: Don't worry, I always knew it was.

5)What do we think about America? This episode was funny, but interesting at the same time. French people are well informed, I see. It reminded me of Jay Leno's segment of his show "Jaywalking", where he asks Americans questions, only they never know the answers. Also, here in Canada, we have a comedian by the name of Rick Mercer and he used to do a segment called "Talking to Americans". He basically went all around the USA asking Americans questions about Canada (some real, and some silly)...and basically Americans know nothing about Canada.

6)Finally...I'm looking forward to PART 2 of the French Political Map. The first part was interesting. I need to see the whole picture.

Once again, merci beaucoup and keep up the great work!

Peace and Cauliflower,
